video guy

I hope I don’t become a video guy, since iPhones now give the option for anyone to make hi resolution video, Perhaps this statement refers mostly to the era when I used consumer VHS tape machines to capture moving images and does not pertain to today when everyone is under video surveillance when in the public domain and or if you haven’t taped the on computer camera lens over with some electrical tape, you may be being watched as you view your computer screen. So a video guy, is someone who uses a video camera for self expression. This can be obtrusive as hell if the video guy is documenting his surroundings and people may be in the picture. There are millions of video cameras in stores and almost anywhere, who are the video guys making these intrusive voyeristic assaults on almost every aspect of life. Do I need to read George Orwell or something? Who get’s caught shoplifting on these cameras? They say film photography is coming back en vogue, Perhaps people will start photographing the obtrusive video cameras everywhere. Perhaps there’s ways to block video cameras, if we are all treated with such a lack of distrust by giant corporations, perhaps the big camera loaded stores will face a back lash when people realize they didn’t do anything to be incarcerated for and or monitored like a criminal and hence they will take their business elsewhere.
